WHO IS CLINT BRILL?
Clint Brill is a former catcher in the Atlanta Braves organisation, selected in the 4th round (89th overall) of the 1981 MLB Draft out of Humboldt State University.

Standing 5’11" and batting right-handed, he spent three seasons (1981–1983) with the Single-A Anderson Braves, amassing a .211 batting average, 8 home runs, and 59 RBIs across 159 games.

Known for his reliable defense behind the plate—with a fielding percentage consistently around .970–.980—and steady hitting, Clint built a reputation on fundamentals and hustle.

After his playing days, Clint transitioned into coaching and mentoring. He served as Executive Director for All Pro Baseball Clinics in California, working with youth players and bringing his pro-level expertise to camps and clinics.

For nearly two decades, he’s also taught at River City High School in Sacramento, balancing classroom leadership with on-field development.

• 𝙋𝙧𝙤-𝙡𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚: Drafted and developed at the professional level, Clint played in a top baseball system.
• 𝘿𝙚𝙛𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚: Recognised for high-caliber catching, he teaches key skills in framing, blocking, and game-calling.
• 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧: With years running youth clinics and teaching in schools, Clint connects with players of all ages, emphasising fundamentals and character.

In January 2026, former pro catcher Clint Brill is heading to Sydney to run a FREE COACHES CLINIC and TWO exclusive 2-DAY CAMPS hosted by Mets Baseball Club.

After years of Mets tour groups traveling to train with Clint in Sacramento, he’s bringing his expertise to us — giving more local players and coaches the chance to learn from one of the best.

Each camp will run for two days and will include:
✅ Fundamentals Training
✅ Strategy & Positioning
✅ Pitching & Catching
✅ Fun Skills Competitions

Participates will also receive:
